Man, I hate missing out on a great loophole. Where was I?
I don't hate the FPS genre. I just hate that there isn't much else that seems to get the AAA treatment.
Personally, I'm highly curious about Project Draco. Supposedly a "A spiritual successor to Panzer Dragoon."
Or Sony could let you own that game via digital download. There must be a solution, because I'm sitting on pile of UMD's and was already irked that the PSPGo didn't support them. Now these things aren't even good for propping up a crooked table.
Never liked Twinkies much. But then I once tried scooping out the middle and filling it with chocolate pudding, and that was a life changing experience.
BTW - It's worth reading through the full report, because it clarifies how the research was conducted.

To make it an apples to apples comparison, the data was based on Xbox 360 usage only. It would be hard to compare all platforms for all games, because Halo was just on Xbox 360, MW2 was limited to mostly the...
I been prepped ever since Zombies At My Neighbors.
This game is so worthy. And at $6 a pop, it's a pretty ridiculous deal.
I've been impressed with the roll out plan so far with these import games. Kudos on some great picks!
Even spammers agree that this Sega should hire this dude!
BTW, this doesn't quite look like a hedgehog

And "Comic Jumper" is such a rip off of Comix Zone.
... And that's a bad thing? I loved that game!
Wait... is this some sort of new craze that I don't know about? When did NES controller shaped tables become all the rage?
That Baywatch Sega game... "Never played a better game!" Precious.
Agree with you on point 1 and 2. But I don't think this was merely experiment. This was a direct attempt to steal some marketshare from Nintendo and their Wii. Whether they are successful at it almost seems kinda moot. Interest in the Wii has dropped so much during its peak.
Interesting. I didn't expect them to be on the same stage together. Nice surprise!
BTW - Here's the original story that highlights how a Tekken vs Street Fighter game is in the works. As I mentioned before, I didn't use the word rumor at the time because the information comes from one of the developers. Don't know if that's what Ono has been dropping hints about lately, but it would be cool for them to start talking about the project.
This is a really interesting point.
While there are some awesome exclusives per system, as this story points out, the reality is, why would anyone buy another $300 system just for 10-15 games they can't get on a system they already have
And that's the problem with console exclusives... If you really want the best gaming experiences, then you got to spend to get all three systems just to play Mario Galaxy, Halo and God of War.
But NSMB did rock. I loved the multiplayer.
I always found those ads to be really disturbing. It's a cow begging for its life, and it's so desperate, it's willing to sacrifice a comrade. At least that's what I see.
I would argue that most newer systems have gotten cheaper when they initially launched why? Inflation plays a factor. But also because gaming console makers now know where the sweet spot is for a price point. And they will try to time the technology power, cost, etc. so that they aren't stuck with a powerful system that is too expensive. If anything, Nintendo has proven that cheaper tech can sell just as well, and Sony has proven that having the best specs can almost kill you because the ...
